Healing Creatively

Healing and self-discovery can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to carry the weight alone. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering a safe space where your story—and your body—can finally be heard.

As a creative arts therapist, I believe your body is a profound resource for healing. By gently integrating traditional talk therapy with movement psychotherapy, we can reach the places where words alone might fall short. Whether you are moving through the fog of depression, the tension of anxiety, or the echoes of trauma, we will work at your pace to cultivate self-compassion and resilience. Together, we’ll help you reconnect with yourself and discover a path toward peace and self-acceptance.

The Practice

My approach is integrative, bridging the gap between psychodynamic verbal therapy and the innate wisdom of the body. Because our emotions and memories are physically held within us, I invite you to explore the mind-body connection as a primary gateway to healing.

By blending traditional talk therapy with specialized practices like Dance/Movement Therapy, EMDR, tapping, and mindful meditation, we go beyond just discussing your challenges. We work to settle your nervous system and build a foundation of internal safety, particularly when navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or the weight of burnout. Whether through movement, guided imagery, or journaling, we will learn to listen to the messages your body is sending.

Cultivating this relationship with your physical self helps bring awareness to patterns involving self-esteem, body image, and relationship issues, opening new ways of relating to yourself and others. This process takes patience and practice, but it allows you to experience yourself with newfound compassion. Sometimes words are not enough; together, we will build a trusting partnership to help you move toward a life of clarity, growth, and emotional health.
